Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any special equipment to start?
No special equipment needed! We provide gloves for your first few classes. Once you're hooked, you may want to get your own gloves and wraps, but there's no pressure to buy anything upfront.
Do I need any prior experience to join?
Not at all! This class is designed for people who want a great workout, not to become fighters. We'll teach you basic striking technique, but the focus is on fitness and having fun.
What should I bring to my first class?
Bring comfortable workout clothes (athletic shorts and a t-shirt work great), water, and an open mind. We'll provide gloves for your trial class.
How often should I attend classes to see results?
Most people train 2-3 times per week to see consistent results. That said, our unlimited membership means you can come to every class if you're feeling motivated. Listen to your body and build up gradually.
Is there any sparring or partner work?
There's no sparring or competition! You will work with a partner holding pads, but it's cooperative. Everyone takes turns holding and striking. The focus is on getting a great workout together, not fighting or technical perfection.
What's the difference between this and Muay Thai Kickboxing?
Cardio Kickboxing is fitness-focused with no sparring or fighting. Just cooperative pad work, with partners taking turns. Muay Thai Kickboxing is our martial arts program with technical instruction, advanced drills, and regular sparring. Choose based on whether you want a high-energy workout or to learn the actual martial art.
