Do I need any special equipment to start?
No special equipment is required to start. We provide loaner gloves for your first few classes. Once you decide to commit, you'll want to invest in your own gloves, hand wraps, and shin guards. Your coach can recommend the best equipment for you.
Do I need any prior experience to join?
No prior experience is necessary. Our instructors teach proper technique from the ground up, ensuring beginners learn correct form and experienced students continue to refine their skills.
What should I bring to my first class?
Bring comfortable workout clothes (athletic shorts and a t-shirt work great), water, and an open mind. We'll provide gloves for your trial class.
How often should I attend classes to see results?
Training 2-3 times per week allows you to build technical proficiency and conditioning consistently. The more frequently you train, the faster your skills will develop.
What's the difference between this and Cardio Kickboxing?
Our Muay Thai classes focus on learning authentic striking technique through partner drills, pad work, sparring, and technical instruction. Cardio Kickboxing is a fitness-focused class that provides a high-energy workout. Choose based on whether you want to learn the martial art or get a great cardio workout.
